Ticket Update for this weekend’s shows
Thank you for purchasing a ticket to see this weekend’s production of “Holy Mother of Bingo!” You should have received an email from Vox shortly after ordering confirming your order and the order #. Your name has been added to the list of advance ticket holders for the show you selected.
When you arrive there will be two lines, one for advance ticket holders and one for rush seating. Simply go to the advance ticket holders line and give your name. You will be crossed off the list and admitted to find a seat immediately. At 7:10pm the doors will open for rush seating, so be sure to arrive by 7:00pm at the latest to choose your seat. Once the rush seating opens, you will still have a guaranteed seat for the show, but selection may be limited.
A free cookie and drink are available to each audience member, so please help yourself to a snack before the show and/or at intermission.
For our Bingo Enthusiasts: the front tables with chairs are for playing bingo during the show! Cards and daubers will be provided, along with prizes for our winners generously donated by local businesses. Just a heads up, our cast loves interacting with these audience members, so be prepared for some fun!
See you this weekend everyone, we are looking forward to a live audience to perform for!

Dress Rehearsal
Great work last night everyone, our Dress Rehearsal is Tuesday, Nov. 18th. I’ll be there from 5:30pm on to help with makeup and hair. I’d like to begin rehearsing at 7:00pm. Bring all costume items and props needed for the run through. Last minute memorization is needed on pages 17 & 22, everyone please have a look before tomorrow.
Last rehearsals
We’re down to the last week of Vox everyone! So many details have been coming together, and a huge thanks to everyone who is putting in so much time to make this production fantastic. Ticket sales are very healthy so we will definitely have an audience at all 3 shows!
Last minute reminders: Today (Sunday’s) rehearsal is from 7-9pm. I will be at the school from 1:00pm on to work on sets, programs, etc. if anyone needs access to the school. Let’s make an effort to have all lines learned for rehearsal tonight… it’s down to the line now! :)
Tuesday is our Dress Rehearsal night. We will be in full makeup, costume, hair and do a full run through (no stopping) of the play, including rounds of Bingo and even some audience. Just like the real shows on the weekend. I will be at the school from 5:00pm on Tuesday to set up. You can show up anytime after that. I’d like to start the dress rehearsal as close to 7:00pm as possible.
Please make this production your absolute priority this week as we need everyone at all rehearsals now. It’s going to be such an exciting endeavour, I can’t wait for audiences to see all your hard work on your characters! See you tonight everyone!

Tomorrow’s Rehearsal
Hi everyone, just a reminder that our rehearsal is from 3:00-5:00pm tomorrow (Sunday). Please be dressed in your costume and ready to go for 3:00pm. We will be using costumes, mics, sound effects, lights, props, sets, but no makeup/hair. Only 3 rehearsals left before our dress rehearsal (with some audience) watching, so let’s memorize memorize memorize!!
“Pending”
Hey everyone, just a note to say that if you or your family notices in their ticket order confirmation email that it says ‘purchase pending’, that’s fine. It just means the tickets have to be picked up at the door, but the money has gone through and their name is on the list of tickets.
Tickets are selling really well online, especially for the matinee show on the Sunday. If your family hasn’t got theirs yet, I would encourage them to do so soon before it fills up.
Costumes and Posters and Tickets, oh my!
Hi folks. Updates! I’ve raided the Costume Closet in Virden and have come back with a load of fun stuff for us! Tuesday’s rehearsal, please bring in any items you had already collected for your costume (if any) and we will have a fashion parade trying them on to see what fits, any adjustments, what else is still needed, etc.
Also, hit a small snag with online ticket sales that will be remedied on Monday. It was a service provider issue with Squarespace but should be up and running late Monday. Thank you to those of you who took posters to put up. Please email if you require more.
Exciting news! I purchased a 14 channel mixer board and 4 new wireless headset mics for Vox! So pumped to try the new audio out at rehearsals now. It was definitely an investment in the future of Vox, so please help advertise the show bring as many audience members as you can!
Things are starting to really come together for props/sets and supplies/prizes now. I also loved Doll’s post advertising our cast on Facebook, it’s going to generate alot of excitement! If you haven’t filled out that Google Form, please do so ASAP.
See you Tuesday night everyone! Hopefully we’ll have the full cast there this rehearsal. :)
